Who We Are
HDG (Heehoon Design Global) is a Korean interior design and construction company that has spent the last 25 years turning briefs into built spaces.
We were founded in 2000 by designer Jeong Hwanju, with investment from HEEHOON D&G, a leading Korean interior company whose roots trace back to 1986. In 2003, we became the first Korean interior design company to be listed on the KOSDAQ exchange, a milestone that set the tone for how we've operated ever since: design ambition backed by disciplined, transparent execution.
Today, HDG operates as a one-stop design-and-build studio, headquartered in Seoul with delivery teams across Korea, China, India, Indonesia, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Wherever we work, the same philosophy travels with us: a belief in mastering Western design thinking while staying rooted in people-oriented Asian sensibility.
What We've Built
Our portfolio reflects the breadth of spaces people actually live and work in. It includes the interior construction of five-star hotels, high-end residential projects, and more than 1,500 Hyundai Motor dealer showrooms installed around the world.
Add to that our Brilliant Memories art exhibitions and a growing list of corporate workplace projects for global brands, and the through line becomes clear: whatever the typology, we treat every space as an experience to be designed, not just a box to be fitted out.
Across offices, retail, hospitality, residential, and exhibition work, we've now delivered more than 5,000 projects.

Backed by Korean project management practices, an international design team across Asia, and more than 25 years of experience delivering projects for global brands such as Hyundai, Kia, Samsung, and LG, HDG has built a strong track record across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and South Asia.
Our management systems are certified to ISO 9001:2015 (quality), ISO 14001:2015 (environment), and ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety) — certifications we hold not as formalities, but as a working discipline across every project.
Our Philosophy
As our CEO, Jeong Hwanju, puts it:
“We will be the practitioners who master western design thinking and integrate people-oriented Asian philosophy.”
It's a simple idea that shapes a lot of decisions on the ground: start from what the people using the space actually need, then bring the design rigor to make that real. That's as true for a boardroom as it is for a five-star hotel lobby or a showroom floor.
Where We're Headed
Twenty-five years in, HDG continues to expand its footprint, most recently strengthening our presence in India, where our teams have delivered projects including Hyundai Motor India's headquarters and a growing number of regional corporate workplaces.
As our network grows, so does our commitment to the same standard, wherever in the world a project takes us.
